...drifting and fading...

i read Bo Sanchez old blog entitled “Quit Often To Succeed In Life”. He stressed that “Unless you learn how to quit, you won’t reach your dreams…Most of the time, the best way to solve your problems is not by solving your problems. The best way to solve your problems is by making them irrelevant. And the way to do that is to quit….Purpose is the final destination; Path is the road going there; Problem is the barrier on that road.

I just wondered: can I quit now?! I am trapped in this dead-end situation; I am in the loosing end. I sometimes asked where I went wrong (an over used question already), I’ve been trying to understand all the things that is happening but I am left without a clue; I’ve been blaming my partner for all this clutter but I just woke up one day and realized that I am the disappointment. I’ve been making abrupt decisions causing for unsettled issues to arise one after the other. I guess I am now learning all the lessons in a very hard way…and in order for me to solve it; I need to make it irrelevant!

“Marriage doesn’t change anyone; it simply magnifies what’s already there.”…I never saw this issue coming, it may existed already from the start but never a big deal; I thought I wholeheartedly accepted all the imperfections in him but it took me 9 years to fully grasp that accepting is different from choosing to be blind and deaf; our relationship right now turned adore to disgust, affection to resentment, trust to betrayal, and optimism to obscurity… I guess it’s time to QUIT!

“When the purpose is messed up, our lives are messed up as well.”…the reason we got married is for us to be together forever, build a happy family and have a child to make us complete and whole; that is our clear idea…but how come this purpose was messed up so suddenly causing our lives to be in chaos… I’ve been trying to patch things up but things are not falling in the way we wanted to… the more we tried to save the relationship the more we are drifting from each other… “But our problem is that we think there’s only one path. So when a problem blocks our way, we try to solve it head on. Not understanding that sometimes, the best way to solve a problem is to make it irrelevant.”

“…people who’ve been stuck in dead-end relationships for years—ecause they don’t know how to quit.” … it’s weird: all I know is I love him, never did it crossed in my mind that we’re no good for each other; it seems that we keep holding on for the wrong reasons and instead of nurturing the relationship with love and care: we continuously hurt each other unintentionally. Is quitting my last resort right now? will it make the situation better or worst? I guess with all these LIES surrounding me I need to clear and free my mind and a need to break free so I can trust and believe again that this so-called LOVE really existed.
